Amen Dunes

Amen Dunes is the project of Damon McMahon. He just released his third full length LP and second with Sacred Bones titled Love. Amen Dunes’ other releases were mostly solo projects, but on Love, McMahon surrounded himself with several other musicians including members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Love is McMahon’s most musically focused album to date, taking him a year and a half to write and record as opposed to just weeks for his other releases.

Check out “Lonely Richard” and “I Can’t Dig It” (below) they both represent the album well. Love is solid from start to finish, another perfect summertime album. It’s available now in all formats from Sacred Bones. Enjoy.
