Darker My Love 2

Darker My Love kicks off a West Coast tour in support of their sophomore album, 2, this week at Popscene in San Francisco. Then the band joins The Dandy Warhols to cover the rest of the country through the summer. I've only heard two songs off 2, but those are strong enough to raise my already high expectations for this band. Prime the pump and download their first album, a freebie, while you can.

New Autolux Song

Amazing that it's been four years since Autolux released Future Perfect. Whenever people ask me about new music, I'm still recommending it. A new album from the band was originally scheduled for release over a year ago. The reason for the delay is unclear. But the band recently released a track from the new album, titled Transit Transit. The date given for the album? "Soon enough." The band, currently labelless and happily so, is offering the track as a pay-if-you-wanna .wav file download on their website. Or you can stream the song, "Audience No. 2," on their myspace page. Autolux will be playing at the My Bloody Valentine curated All Tomorrow's Parties in New York on September 19th.
