Mobius Band: New MP3s, Album + Tour

Written over an extensive 19-month span, Heaven, the new album by Mobius Band, will be ready for your ears October 2nd. Extensive touring, death and infidelity all played a part in prolonging the band's sophomore record, and first for the Misra label. The Mobius Band accents their pop sounds with electronic flourishes and Heaven is no different, except much of the electronics this time around were not generated by computer but fifteen toy keyboards from which Noam Schatz coerced delightful "circuit bent" noises after meticulously gutting and re-wiring the instruments.

The band recently played out in Colorado at the Monolith Festival (reports anyone?) and will head back out on the road (details below) for the rest of the year beginning of next month.
