Plug 2007: What's Your Favorite Album This Year?
The PLUG Independent Music Awards are ramping up for their next round of awards and celebration. This year they've opened up their voting booths early to the public. You can vote for your favorite album, artist, new artist, video, retail store, website (wink, wink, hint, hint), etc. Vote now and we'll keep you posted on how things are progressing over there at PLUG. I'll even start things off here. These are off the top of my head, but my favorite albums from this year would have to include Figurines, The Spinto Band, and Radio Citizen. Lloyd Cole's new album has yet to be released...I think that comes out the end of this month. I expect that will spend a lot of time in my head this year as well....

New albums from M. Ward, Camera Obscura and Midlake have been a few of my favorites this year.

Justine Electra's album Soft Rock. Her song 'Fancy Robots' is one the best songs I've heard this year.
