New MP3 + Album from Dosh
The Lost Take, Dosh's third album is due out October 17th through Anticon. From the sounds of the first listen music fans are in for a treat. On "Um, Circles and Squares" Martin Dosh collaborates with Andrew Bird on violin and Mike Lewis from Fog on saxophone, cutting and looping their performances with his signature rhythm, live drums and bass-synth sequencing, underneath. The synth work reminds me of a sound four lads from Basildon, England conjured up twenty-five years ago, updated with live, organic instrumentation.

Catch Dosh on tour with Andrew Bird. You won't regret it. I think they have a few more West coast dates.
