I'd been waiting all week to pull off the Lloyd Cole & Commotions into Camera Obscura segue. I heard/saw C.O's new song "Lloyd, I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken," on youtube last week. Youtube killed the MTV star...finally.

New EP + MP3 from Thee More Shallows

Thee More Shallows are back (relatively quick considering the last three year draught between their last two albums) with a new EP, Monkey Vs. Shark. The EP's seven tracks include a remix of "Freshman" by Odd Nosdam with Why?, which is just a super-sweet use of Bay Area resources in my opinion, as well as a stripped down version of Al Green's "I Can't Get Next To You:"
